Parading 2010

Sure it's another in a seemingly unending series of cold, grey days here in Cowtown. But spring is just around the corner unless something goes horribly wrong and with it will come that greatest of days this side of Irish Fest weekend, the Kansas City St. Patrick's Day Parade. If you've never participated in the big parade, you're really missing out. So let's make this the year you do it, shall we? Your family, your club, organization or business, your pals from the pub. Gather them together and enter. Because the thing is when you place an entry in the parade, it's not just fun on March 17th. You get all those weekends before too as you build your float, practice your drill team moves, takes turns blowing into that giant balloon, whatever your entry requires. And if you come up with something great you might win something great, like two tickets to Ireland. I myself worked on a grand prize winning float a few years back and if we can do it, a set of smart cookies like you and your pals should be a shoe in.

Get your application in today and join the fun. The forms and info are all here at the parade's website.
