Irish Fest Contest Queen Cami Travis Groves, who ironically is neither dry nor stout herself, wants you to be thinking about beer your own good self. And she wants you to hurry the hell up about it:
"Saturday (tomorrow) is the LAST day to turn in your home-brewed stout beer for the brewing contest. Bring your three bottles of (BJCP style #13) stout to Bacchus & Barleycorn, 6633 Nieman Road in Shawnee, Kansas, BEFORE 4 p.m., this Saturday, August 22.
The Prizes (in addition to bragging-rights):
• First prize is four one-day Snug Membership Passes at this year’s Irish Fest, and a $50 gift certificate to Bacchus & Barleycorn!!
• Second prize is two one-day Snug Membership Passes* at this year’s Irish Fest, and a $35 gift certificate to Bacchus & Barleycorn!!
• Third prize is four one-day Irish Fest tickets, an Irish Fest merchandise certificate, and a $20 gift certificate to Bacchus & Barleycorn!!

STOP COMPLAINING ANONYMOUS, I AM A WEEKEND MEMBER FOR THE 2ND YEAR IN A ROW. THE SNUG WILL BE FULL ON SUNDAY FOR THE ENTERTAINMENT. IT WAS SOOOOO PERFECT WITH ALL THE REDHEADS, BOULEVARD BEER, SNUG SISTERS, EVEN UNCLE BLOGGY WHEN HE WAS AROUND.
