Gold Medal

Okay, well by now any of you who follow us on Twitter or Facebook know that Laren had been claiming victory in the Milwaukee Irish Fest 5K run on Saturday. I say "claiming" because we didn't run the race together, having started in different places in the crowd. So I was holding out hope that when the official results were announced that I could have the joy of shaming her into a humiliating public retraction. But alas, no. The numbers are out and Laren beat me by a whopping 24 seconds.

But I am claiming a partial victory in that I finished highter in my age group than she did. And plus the sun was in my eyes. And my shoe came untied. And Laren more than likely cheated. Anyway, win she did and I bow to her. As far as our contest, Jeff is tabulating and cyphering and will have our winner soon.
