Crown Jewel

Today I want to highlight KC Irish Fest's amazing partner - Crown Center. The complex is a wonderful place to hold an event. The staff there that keeps us looking good is even more amazing. The fountains, the trees, the grassy areas, and the convenience of not one, but two hotels within skipping distance. And to think that had it not rained that fateful weekend in 2003, we'd probably still be sitting on the banks of the mighty Mo. Thanks Crown Center, for giving us a place to call home!

But the one thing Crown Center provides, yet we tend to take for granted - FREE PARKING. We are so focused on providing the best value for your money (especially in these tight economic times) that we often overlook the biggest benefit we have. All weekend long, come and go as you wish, we have thousands of free parking slots available. And all less than a two minute walk from any one of our four entrance gates.
What did you pay to park at your last visit to the Sprint Center? Chiefs game? Royals Game? Worlds of Fun? Now don't start writing letters - I love all these places and am happy to pay to park. (In fact this weekend, I'll be at the Royals game - find me and I'll have Danny buy you a beer.) But don't you hate it when parking fees cut into your money for peanuts and hot dogs?

This summer, add up all the parking fees you pay for all your outings. I'll bet you spend less on your whole family admission to Irish Fest. Where the parking is free.
