The Other Half Of Your Weekend

Friday night, you're coming with me to Raglan Road, right? I'll meet you there. On Saturday night you should take your self and your sweetheart over to the Café, Eddie Delahunt's Café & at 45th and State Line Road. That night at 7:00, Eddie presents the great Gerry O Beirne. O Beirne who beautifully plays pretty much anything with strings on it, has:

"toured the globe as a solo artist and with the Sharon Shannon Band, Patrick Street, Midnight Well, Andy M. Stewart, Kevin Burke, Andy Irvine, and the Waterboys. He has performed at the White House, opened for the Grateful Dead, and played electric guitar with Marianne Faithfull. He composed and recorded the score to River of Dreams, an artistic response to the River Shannon commissioned by the Irish Department of Arts and Heritage, and he has written music for film and theater."

What have you done lately? So go see this show. I can't think of a better venue for O Beirne's intimate music. Gerry O Beirne, of Ennis, Co Clare, at the Café & this Saturday April 4th @ 7:00 pm.
