Who turned 23 yesterday? None other than our very own Mindy Johnson who manages with her sister Marcia our big beautiful Boulevard Stage at Irish Fest.
If you're ever looking for me at Irish Fest, I'd recommend checking backstage at the Boulevard. Because when I need a pick-me-up during that long weekend, when I need a boost to my flagging energy level, a chat with Mindy is like getting hooked up to jumper cables. How she works as hard as she does and still keeps that lovely smile on her face, that good humor in her heart and that solid gold attitude all over her bad self is beyond me, but I'm very glad she does.
When you're at Irish Fest in 137 days rocking and jigging and whatnot at the Boulevard Stage yell a thank-you-Mindy for all she does. And today, holler her a loud happy birthday, too.

Amen! What a shot in the arm she is during Irish fest. I think it should be required if you are feeling cranky to chat with Mindy a moment and all will be well.
