I'm really sorry to do this to you.
I've had this song stuck in my head for days now, ever since we announced that the hysterical Ardal O'Hanlon will be bringing the Comedy Stage back to Irish Fest this year. In his 1990's television show "Father Ted" there was an episode where Father Ted (Dermot Morgan) and Father Dougal (O'Hanlon) attempt to write a song to enter in the "Eurosong" contest. What they actually came up with (here) and the song of their dreams (here), as I said have been rattling around in my head for a week now. Nothing, and I've tried, can seem to dislodge it. So I give in. And now, it'll be in your head. Sorry. But at least we all be singing together.
Everybody now: "My lovely horse..."
Ardal O'Hanlon is on the Irish Fest Comedy Stage for two shows, Saturday night, September 5th.

I'm really looking forward to seeing Ardal. Father Ted was so great and his stand-up looks just as spectacular.
That's just lovely!
