Tomorrow, Thursday, give your St. Patrick's week a literary turn when Rainy Day Books brings author Frank Delaney to town. Delaney, the author of the books "Ireland: A Novel", "Tipperary" and the new "Shannon" will speak at the Plaza branch of the Kansas City public library at 7:00 PM.
The Plaza Branch is at 4801 Main Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64112. Reception at 6:30 PM, Discussion at 7:00 PM, and book signing at 8:00 PM. Admission is complimentary and open to the general public. Please call the Kansas City Public Library at 816-701-3407 for reservations. Rainy Day Books will have Frank Delaney's books for sale at this event, which they've titled "It's a Great Time to be Irish!"
