Do you have your tickets yet to the Elders annual St. Patrick's Day bash? For the first time this year, the Hoolie moves to the beautifully restored Midland Theater downtown. I was in the Midland during the Arts Midwest conference last fall and it's worth seeing even if you didn't have all this great entertainment: The Elders. Creel. Danielle Fitzpatrick. The O'Riada Dancers.
The party starts at 7:00 PM, Saturday, March 14th. Tickets are on sale at The Midland box office, online at ticketmaster.com, or you can charge by phone by calling 1-800-745-3000. If you're coming from out of town or just don't feel like driving home, grab a room at the Hotel Philips, just a short stroll away. Long time Irish Festers will remember that hotel as the site of our impromptu indoor fest after the rain out of 2003. For the special Hoolie room rate contact Sandi Harkins at (800) 433-1426 or (816) 221-7000.

Speaking of Hooley, Lew's Bar and Grill is having their annual St Patricks Day Hooley again this year with Irish Fest vets Jonathan Ramsey, the Kelihans. Then at 8 Disc O'Dick and the Mirrorball. Go to www.lesbarandgrill.com for more details.
Wish we could come---we fell in love with the Phillip's that weekend. One of my most memorable birthdays ever!
PS: Boys of the Lough will be at the Folk Center in Mountain View, Arkansas on Sunday the 15th. Y'all come on down and continue the party!
That would be www.leWsbarandgrill.com...
I thought the first URL looked pretty interesting all by itself. ROFL.
