Turning 23 today is Laren Mahoney, who also is completing her first wildly successful year on the Kansas City Irish Fest board of directors. How somebody can be so on the ball at such a tender young age is beyond me.
To Laren, who lights up every room lucky enough to have her walk into it, a very happy birthday and a fine '09.
