Speaking of grants (see below) remember when I made that funny joke about Ginger Grant? I bet you're still chuckling over that one. Good times. Anyway, this has nothing to do with grants, but it does involve gingers. Irish Fest treasurer Ronan Collins, having counted all our beer tokens and having some time on his hands found this little news item for all you red-noggined Irish boys and girls.

Wow! I've heard everything from we're a dying breed to the UK sought to add us as a "protected class". It was tough growing up with red hair but really some kids will find any reason to be mean. I'm older now, have grown to accept my hair color and now I'm big enough to scare those little kids! :-)
