Maybe it's an Irish thing, this connection...obsession maybe, with death. We all read the obituaries. Admit it, you know you do. The Irish sports page. Ever been to an Irish wake? I'm still hungover from my father's and it was in 1986. I have big volumes on my bookshelf at home of Irish ghost stories. The Irish gave us the Banshee and Halloween. It's in the blood.
So I'm beyond excited to meet an actual bonafide ghost hunter at Irish Fest in two weeks. Barry FitzGerald (No, not the guy from Bells of St. Mary's) of televisions' Ghost Hunters International will be here, telling ghost stories and generally scaring the daylights out of all of us. I can't wait.
Barry will be on the Heritage Stage Saturday at 7:00. I'll be there. Maybe I'll see if grand-grandma wants to go.

Barry will also be on the Heritage Stage on Friday Night at 8:00pm to talk about his ghost-hunting travels in Ireland and around the world.
I, for one, think that Barry will be one of the high points of the Fest!
Berry is from Belfast right?
Yep Barry was the highlight of the weekend.
