They Don't Look a Day Over 118

North America's oldest Irish business, Browne's Irish Market and Deli is throwing a birthday party for its old self this month and you're invited.

June 28th from 3-11:00 at Browne's Corner at 33rd and Pennsylvania streets, the celebration features:

• A children's area
• Great Browne's food
• Your favorite beverages
• Contests: Best legs in a kilt and reddest hair.
• Vendors
• Raffle for an Ireland package, Kansas City package and more.
• Entertainment: The Elders, Eddie Delahunt and friends, St. Andrews Bagpipers, dancers & more.

The birthday party is a fund raiser for F.I.R.E., providing education for children with special needs. Tickets are $6 in advance, $8 at the gate, and available at Browne's of course, as well as The Irish Crystal Co (135th & Metcalf), and Eddie Delahunt's Cafe & (now in its new location on Bell Street at 45th).

When you get to the Browne's hooley, come find the Irish Fest tent. We'll be there with all the information you'll need to be among the first to join The Snug, our new Irish Fest club. And you'll be able to sign up right there to join our volunteer corps. We may even have some free stuff for you.

I'm glad you will be there to explain the "Snug" thing. I know I was quite snug on Sat night last year. I really think I wanna be a Snug person.
