Four Bucks

So I hear that as of this morning, the price of gas has reached an average of $4 a gallon in the U.S. Which makes Irish Fest a great bargain vacation.

See, we in Kansas City have the great advantage of being smack dab in the middle of this great country of ours making us close to everything. So if you're coming from elsewhere across America, airfares won't kill you and that $4 gas will stretch. Once here, you'll find that your hotel, whether it be the Hyatt or the Westin (both of which offer special Irish Fest rates) is right on site. Keep that gas guzzling car parked all weekend. Even after we close for the night, lots of after hours fun is walking-distance close and more can be reached by the Max buses that will whisk you off to Westport, The Power and Light District or the world famous Country Club Plaza. And of course Irish Fest itself is a huge bargain. If you're staying in one of our anchor hotels, you;re tickets are included. Bring the kids and buy them a new VIP bracelet. Endless fun for them for $10.

If you're lucky enough to live here, then I'm sure you don't need convincing. Why go anywhere else Labor Day weekend when you have all this Celtic fun right on your doorstep?

So fear not, gasoline buyers. Don't let the sheiks bring you down. You can still take that family vacation this summer. No matter where you are, the Kansas City Irish Fest is close to home and opens in just 81 days.
