David Cook, if you're reading this and I know you are: I haven't heard you sing. I'd never heard of you until last week. I don't watch your show. I'm sure you're a very talented fella, a great guy and a credit to Blue Springs. Best of luck in your contest. And you're welcome to come to Irish Fest. But damn, I'll be glad when we can all quit hearing your name every three minutes.

anonymous, he's not from Kansas City, Missouri. He's from Blue Springs, Missouri. He's only from Kansas City in the sense of the Kansas City Metro area, some of which is in Kansas. So, seems to me he brought attention to Blues Springs, and to the entire area, not just one city on the Missouri side that he's not even from.
Yes, you are very much correct. The entire KC area was publicized, including Blue Springs.
The MO comment was a tongue-in-cheek reference to another blog today.
