Grant Board Addition

Here's some great news from Ed Follis, who heads up our Irish Fest Grant board:

It gives me great pleasure to announce that Tom Shawver is the newest member of the Grant Advisory Board for the Kansas City Irish Fest. Tom has a long history with the festival. Tom first became involved with Irish Fest in March of 1998 while he was the President of the Brookside Merchants Association. Tom was a vital part of the Brookside Irish Fest, serving on the Board of Directors as Vice President for all four years. As owner of Bloomsday Books, Tom's incredible wealth of knowledge of Irish Literature will be a true asset for the Grant Advisory Board. Congratulations to Tom, it's great to have you on the Grant Advisory Board!

Grant applications for 2008 will be accepted later this summer. Welcome, Tom!
