We've really started something down here at Crown Center. We began turning the place green one weekend out of the year back in 2004 when the Kansas City Irish Fest moved here from Berkeley Swamp...uh, Park. Now, beginning at the end of this month the place will be sporting at least 40 shades of green on a regular basis.
The Crown Center Farmer's Market will offer all kinds of fresh edible greens, bedding plants, fresh fruits and seasonal produce. The greening will be every other Tuesday beginning on April 29th and continuing through the end of September, including two days after the close of Irish Fest which means we better be all cleaned up by then I guess.
