It's another pretend Friday here in Tir na Blog, so we have our Friday band announcement. Returning for a second year at Irish Fest is the legendary Cork singer, folklorist and musician Jimmy Crowley.
Last year when I first ran into Gaelic Storm's Patrick Murphy backstage, he was absolutely breathless with excitement at having just shared a car ride from the airport with Jimmy. "You gotta understand, Dan" he said. "For an Irish musician that's like sharing a ride with Bob Dylan."
