Happy St. Patrick's Day to you all from your friends at the 6th Annual Kansas City Irish Fest. We're off soon to launch our float, number 26 in today's parade and I hope you'll come see us in spite of the dire weather forecast. In my experience, when they're this certain of crappy weather, we're sure to have the exact opposite. The day of the deluge at the 2003 inaugural Irish Fest, there was no mention of rain that morning and we all know what happened. So today with an 80% chance of rain forecast, I expect we'll all end the day sunburned like lobsters.

Though, as often happens I could be wrong.
