Band Announcement

Eddie Delahunt.

If you live in Kansas City, you take him for granted, don't you? Sure, Eddie's kind of a fixture around here. He's steady, plays his regular gigs, tends to business at the Café. He's, you know, just Eddie. But listen. When was the last time you went to see Eddie play, and really saw and heard him and appreciated what we've got here? Eddie is an amazingly talented entertainer. He's a world class songwriter. His voice is stronger than ever. He's plays the hell out of that guitar. And there's nobody, nobody who connects with an audience better. With Gabe Reyes on bodhran and Brett Gibson on accordion, you've got yourself a great Irish trad band.

Eddie and his band will be back at Irish Fest this year. Honestly, I can't imagine an Irish Fest without him.

If you live in Kansas City, do yourself this huge favor: This weekend, tonight at Mike Kelly's Westsider or Sunday at O'Dowd's on the Plaza, go see Eddie. Not as background music while you chat with your friends. Go listen. Pay attention. See what a tremendous talent he is. And then consider yourself lucky to have Eddie around.

If Eddie hasn't been designated a National Treasure yet, he ought to be.

Fantastic! Well Said!

Eddie is without a doubt all you said Danny and you are correct, we do take him for granted. Now I'm going to be at the Westsider tonight.

Thank you for all you do Eddie

Isn't that Gabe too sexy to be up on stage right after Mass? Might put some of those nuns in cardiac arrest!

Yeah, he's SO swarthy! Not to mention the feet on Brett! Mmmm, hobbit feet.
