Winners

The Meteor Music Awards were presented in Ireland on Friday and it was a big night for the Kansas City Irish Fest. Okay, more accurately, it was a big night for 2008 Irish Fest performer Damien Dempsey, who won in the category of Best Irish Folk Traditional, and for 2007 headliners The Saw Doctors who were given a Lifetime Achievement Award.
