Celebrating a birthday today is Tim Driscoll, long time Irish Fest staffer who comes to Kansas City every year all the way from Glen Rock, New Jersey just to keep you from getting back stage. Timmy's been with us since those early days back in Brookside and has forgotten more about throwing an Irish Fest than most of us will ever know. Come to think of it, he's forgotten pretty much everything.
Tim turns 87 today and if he was still aware of his surroundings, I'm sure he'd appreciate warm wishes from everybody in his extended Irish Fest family. Maybe Mary Pat will read them to him.

Very Happy Birthday to Tim! Can't wait to see the Driscoll's in a few weeks in Kansas City.
Speaking from experience, it will be much better next year not having to do the festival on crutches or a cane!
