Going through the records of our online ticket sales yesterday, a fun fact emerged here at Irish Fest HQ. We had advance ticket sales from a whopping 28 states, including Alaska. We also sold tickets to at least one festival goer in Mexico.
We've always prided ourselves on being a regional tourism draw here in Kansas City, but I think this pretty much puts us in the national category. And this doesn't take into account the hotel guests who didn't by tickets on line. Who knows how many more states we'll add to the list when that data is tallied?
That very convenient, very easy online click-and-print ticket sales system will be back this summer on our website. Let's see if we can hit 50 states.
