2007 and 2008 Kansas City Irish Fest headliners Gaelic Storm are heading back this way for a preview of their Labor Day weekend shows. The Storm will blow into the Beaumont Club in Westport on March 1st to kick off the St. Patrick's Day season. It's an 8:00, all ages show, so diaper up the kiddies and bring them along. Don't forget to diaper up hubby too. You know how he gets after a few Boulevard Pale Ales.
The last time Gaelic Storm played a non-Irish Fest gig here I was driving across western Kansas on my way to the mountains when Patrick Murphy called my cell phone to chastise me for not being there. I promise I'll be there this time. You should be too. Or I'll give Murphy your cell phone number.
