Speaking of elections and nominations as I do below, let me get something non-Irish Fest off my chest. Is there some law that says when a politician is on stage in front of a cheering crowd before or especially after a speech, that they must occasionally point into the crowd as if they saw somebody they actually know? Every single one of the gobshites, without exception, every single time. If you haven't noticed this, watch for it. Make it a drinking game. They point, you take a swig. Whatever it takes to get through to the November election.
We now return you to the Kansas City Irish Fest.
