Birthday boy Dave Shaughnessy shared with me his "Celtic Zodiac" report, which had been sent to him today by the people at CelticRadio.net. Dave has friends in high places. Now, personally, I think astrology is pretty much...oh, what's the word I'm looking for? Horseshit. But I'll tell ya, those Druids may be on to something. In the write-up for people born during Dave's time slot (November 25 - December 23...coincidentally, he falls under "The Elder" sign), the Celts say of Dave and his ilk:
"They have a tendency to lack good judgment in their choice of friends."
True enough. And speaking of me, (I'm "The Ivy", September 30 - October 27) those wise ancients say that I:
"...possess a sharp intellect which is matched only by their sense of humor" and that I "tend to attract people who have little or no morals."

It says about me: "inclined to become involved with the dreams and ambitions of others... prefer to assist rather than lead" and "tend to influence things a great deal, but usually behind the scenes."
I guess that's why I volunteer for the Irish Fest.
