Happy birthday today to Kansas City Irish Fest executive director and my good friend Keli O'Neill Wenzel. Keli is the straw that stirs the drink around here, the hand at the helm, the big cheese, the top dog, the...well, you get the idea. If it happens at Irish Fest, it goes through Keli.
Happy birthday, pal. The whole city has put up lights and decorations just to celebrate. Hope it's great.

I've been a bad Fester and haven't checked the blog in a few days so forgive me for the late birthday wishes, Keli! Hope you got lots of spendy and sparkly presents IN ADDITION TO your spendy and sparkly Christmas presents. Having a holiday-time birthday meself, I know how bad it sucks to get those two-occasions-in-one gifts. Spring for two gifts people- especially for Keli, cuz she rocks.
