One of the problems with drawing our new board of directors members from the ranks of our great committee heads is that in the process we lose a great committee head. Such is the case this year. When Barney Walsh was kicked upstairs, he left his poor co-chair and wife Sarah all alone to manage the huge and work-intensive Site Host committee all by her lonesome. A terrible thing to do to the poor girl.
But I'm happy to report today that Barney's big stinky shoes have been filled, and by one of our own. Amanda Kelly Dennis, formerly Volunteer Coordinator for Irish Fest is returning to the fold after a year off in 2007. We couldn't be happier. Amanda brings invaluable experience, energy and enthusiasm to the job. And she's a lot better looking than Barney, too.
Welcome home Amanda.

Would Sarah be Sunshine #3?
I am SO excited to get to work with Amanda, and she has such fabulous hair, which is important for a Site Host Co-Chair!!!! Can't wait to get started in 08! YAY!
