Kiddies, Halloween is upon us and that means it's time for another visit to Uncle Bloggy's Haunted Story Castle. Only this time, instead of a story, Uncle Bloggy has a spooky contest for you.
It's the Kansas City Irish Fest 1st And Probably Last Annual Count Blogula's Virtual Halloween Costume Contest!
Here's how it works: you get dressed up in your All Hallow's Eve finery, be it scary, funny or somewhere in between. Go out, do your trick or treating, light your paper bags of dog poop on fire, TP the neighbor's house. Uncle Bloggy was a kid once...about 90 years ago. I know the drill. Then send me a picture of you in your get up. A winner will be picked by a distinguished panel of judges, or me, and a fabulous Irish Fest prize package will be awarded. Since I'm making this all up as I type, I have yet to determine exactly what that package will include. But fabulous it will be.
A kid's prize and an adult prize will be awarded. A kid will be defined as anybody under 16. Send your entrails...I mean entries before November 5th to danny@kcirishfest.com. Operators will be standing by and pictures of winners and possibly selected non winners will be posted here at Tir na Blog for all to ooh and ahh and shriek in fright at.
So get scary, man! Win some stuff! And keep your flaming dog poop bags off my porch.
