5. The 3rd Annual Kansas City Feis. Not ever having owned a child who was an Irish dancer (my sons would sooner have taken flower arranging lessons) I had never attended a feis (say "fesh") until the first annual Kansas City Feis. Brother, I'm here to tell you, it was a revelation. Whether you're a feis rookie or a seasoned vet, make sure you cross the street to the Westin on Saurday and check it out for awhile.
