Schedule Change
Doug Delaney, who was scheduled to perform Saturday at noon on the Atrium Stage has had to cancel his appearance at Irish Fest. A schedule update will be provided shortly. There is no truth to the rumor that Irish Fest president Ed Scanlon will perform his "Irish Fest Rap" during that time period.

Will Jimmy Crowley be in early enough? What about Fuchsia, I am sure they have an hour off, somewhere?
Here's a good chance to support some local musician's. Many of us have been wondering why you don't have the Lucky Charms at the fest this year. You should see if they could fill the spot. I think you would be quite pleased with them.
I've never heard them play, but I think the Lucky Charms would do a lot better if they weren't named after a cartoon-Irish breakfast cereal. It reminds me of an earlier local band who misguidedly named themselves The I.R.A. You need to understand and not insult your core audience. I wonder how a band called Aunt Jemima and The Pancakes would go over at the Rhythm and Ribs festival or a group called The Frito Banditos would do at a Cinco de Mayo celebration?
I've seen them on several times and have really enjoyed them. As far as the name, they use it in the sense of charms...like a charm bracelet, clover etc. They would be a great adition to the fest line up instead of having a repeat performance by one of the other bands. I suggest you visit their website or catch one of their shows.
Whoever y'all get to fill the slot how about letting them play backup for a featured song or two from Anthony DeLallo in addition to his Sunday appearances?
You are right, Dan.
The kid's got pipes...
...and probably an amazing
future ahead of him.
Lucky Charms? Never heard of them. I agree with the Count Chocula. Breakfast food band. Now that is too cute. I hear the Sheaded Wheat Band may be available. How damn offensive to name your band after a stereotype.
Tony the Tiger.
Breakfast food band banned. We can't have that kind of frivolity running amuck!
Yeah, next thing you know we'd have cows doing step dancing!
Oh wait, there was a cereal called "Crazy Cow." Anybody remember that one? Here's a link to a picture on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/70s-Style-CRAZY-COW-Cereal-Box-MAGNETS-Straw-Chocolate_W0QQitemZ140148271910QQihZ004QQcategoryZ1322QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
You people have WAY too much time on your hands...
We've decided to leave that slot, vacated by Doug Delaney, empty on the Atrium Stage. The stage will open Saturday Sept 1 at 1pm with Rowan.
The on-line schedule is correct and current.
