American Body, Irish Soul

We are proud to serve our hometown Boulevard beer at the Kansas City Irish Fest this year, as we have every year since the early neighborhood festival days in Brookside and Westport. And all of us at Irish Fest will sing the praises of this quality product to anyone who'll listen. But just in case our opinions don't carry a lot of weight with you, here's what the review board in industry journal Modern Brewery Age had to say in their recent review of Boulevard Dry Stout:

Boulevard’s Irish Dry Stout could serve as a benchmark for the style. Fine roasty malt character in a perfectly balanced, very drinkable stout. There is even an (almost imperceptible) sour note in the nose, reminiscent of Guinness. “Thin and dry, just like it should be,” said Tom Conti. “That’s a good stout.” “Beautiful color, and the roasty maltiness is very well balanced,” said Robert Lachman.“On the light-bodied side for a stout, but it works.” “Very roasty and clean,” Jack Kenny said. “This is a nice, enjoyable stout.” “Damn good stuff,” Gregg Glaser said. This stout hits all the right notes. A classic dry stout, worth seeking out.

Rating: ✔✔✔✔✔= Superb in every respect. True to style, enjoyed by all on the panel.

We couldn't agree more. We'll have plenty waiting for you at the Kansas City Irish Fest, in just a sip over two weeks time.

I think I'd better try several just to make sure it's good.
