Ramp Building Continues
Progress continued on the brand new Irish Fest ramp on Saturday, as brawny builders Ed Scanlon, Barney Walsh, Jim Ondick, Stevan Ryan and myself, captained by Rory O'Connor labored in the blazing sun until nearly Beer:30. The ramp was taken down to the Irish Fest
site and put in place, albeit temporarily and I can tell you with no hesitation that it's going to be a huge asset for the 2007 festival and beyond.
While the ramp, our expansion North into Pershing Road and the bigger, better Boulevard Stage will be the most visible of the improvements we're making for 2007, rest assured that there will be a thousand other little tweaks and adjustments less obvious that we're working on to make this edition of the Kansas City Irish Fest the best ever.
The unveiling is just 46 days away.
