I had a note yesterday from Karen Fiebig, who was the lucky winner of a trip to Ireland with the Elders at last year's Kansas City Irish Fest. No big surprise, it sounds like Karen had a great time. A free trip to Ireland will do that for you, I suppose. Not that I'd know. Sigh.
Karen dutifully kept a journal of her trip and has promised to share some of it with us in days to come. As did Kendra Keller, our other Ireland trip winner from 2006, who picked up her tickets in our raffle drawing.
This year? Might be you. With two chances to win trips and other great prizes, it can pay off big to come to Irish Fest.
Especially, apparently, if your first and/or last name begins with a K.
