Whilst we're on the subject of stages, I can now report that construction of the Terrace Stage here at Crown Center is complete.
You know, that name bothers me a little..."Terrace Stage". I mean, it's not a bad name. Truth be told, I'm the one who named it. But compared to the ultra-hip sounding Boulevard Pub Stage, the Terrace Stage sounds kinda...I don't know, plain. Like it's missing something.
Something like a major sponsor to hang their name on it.
Seriously, how cool would that be for your company? I'll help with that question. On a scale of 1-10, an 11.
Yeah, it ain't cheap. We don't anticipate printing signs advertising the "Betty 'n' Al's Tube Sox Emporium Stage" any time soon. But if you've got the wherewithal, Mr. or Ms. Civic-Minded-Corporate-Leader, it might be an investment you want to consider. How about a Saturday night crowd of 20,000 facing your company name on a 30' long banner? How about your name on programs in the hands of 70,000 people? How about your name mentioned in all our regional advertising? How about entertaining your staff and clients in our swanky and exclusive Sponsor Hospitality area during the Fest? And that's just the beginning.
Seems to work for our friends at the Boulevard Brewing Company, now in their 5th year of sponsoring the Boulevard Pub Stage. I'll tell you one thing, if I hit the lottery this summer, you'll all be rocking out at the "Dan Regan, Coolest Guy In The World Stage" this Labor Day weekend.
If you're interested in spicing up the moniker on our Terrace Stage this year, contact Keli and she'll give you all the details on how to make that happen. And Betty 'n' Al, best of luck with those tube socks.
