Today is the official start of the St. Patrick's Day season in Kansas City, with the parade committee luncheon downtown at the Muehlebach Hotel at 11:00. Eddie Delahunt, of course will be holding court at the Westsider tonight as usual. Tomorrow, the wonderful Brookside parade is at 2:00, and the Gaelic Mass at Redemptorist Church at 5:00. The Snake Saturday Parade in North Kansas City takes place tomorrow at 11:00. And out South in Martin City, it's Irishpalooza on Sunday, pretty much all day.
And that's just this weekend. We'll all be green by the time March ends.
