Nelly On The Telly
The wildly successful (34 weeks on screen) locally produced documentary Nelly Don will have its television premiere tonight, 7:30 on KCPT, channel 19. The film is the story of the larger than life Irish-American entrepreneur Nell Donnelly and was produced by her nephew Terence O'Malley. 2006 Irish Festers may remember the fashion show of Nelly Don dresses on our Heritage Stage last year.

No, I don't have a daughter, just the two boys. You must be thinking of Ed Scanlon, whose daughter Molly modeled that day.

Possibly so. It's somebody who knows the story that later in the afternoon the day of the fashion show, I met Terence O'Malley and after hearing my last name he said "oh, your daughter was one of our models today, right?" I presume he was talking about Jen. I further presume that he was jealous.
