Dancing Waters

If you saw us in the parade on Saturday, you saw our interpretation of the fountains at Crown Center, with the addition of a sorta crazed-looking St. Patrick frolicking around amongst the jets of simulated water.

Well, back at the real thing, the fountains debuted a new choreographed water performance today and it's pretty cool.

Featuring music recorded for Crown Center by members of the Kansas City Symphony, the new shows are synchronized to "Tritsch-Tratsch-Polka" and Mouret's "Rondeau", which I'm pretty sure is some of that fancy-pants classical music. We'll work on getting them synced to "'Round The House And Mind The Dresser" and "The Winding Hills Of Sligo."

The regular show schedule: weekday shows at noon and on the hour from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Weekend shows on the hour from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

And if you see our St. Patrick splashing around in there, call Crown Center security.
