Kennedy's bar in Waldo burned up last month, as you probably know. But like any good Irish pub, that's merely an inconvenience when it comes to throwing a St. Patrick's Day party:
An Irish Wake, of sorts, for Kennedy's Bar and Grill!
Down, but not gone, Kennedy's will have a tent for St. Patrick's Day this Saturday. Just across the street from the old front door of Kennedy's at 7428 Washington (one block west of Wornall on 75th St.).
Doors (or flaps) open at NOON and stay open until 11:00 pm. Live Irish music by Michael Fraser and The Shortleaf Band starts at 6:00 pm. Drink specials and food, no cover. We will be collecting donations for the Kansas City, Missouri Fire Fighters.
