Snow Through The Hourglass

I don't know how it is is where you are, but here we're still frozen. The pond in the park up the street is a skating rink, the temperature outside still refuses to budge out of the high 20's. So for those of us who live and breathe for a summertime event like Irish Fest, we look for little encouragements to keep trudging (and slipping and sliding) through these endless Missouri winters. Today, my little hope nugget comes in the form of this wee count down calendar doohickie on my computer which informs me that Irish Fest opens exactly 200 days from today.

Okay, yeah that's still a lot. But throw me a bone here. That means that tomorrow it's only 199 days. And that sounds...significantish, right? Sort of?

Anyway, I'll take it. And I'll keep watching that little doohickie. Especially when it starts snowing again later tonight.

I think you need to add a countdown doohickey to the sidebar of this blog so we can all countdown with you.

Good idea! I'll get my 12 year old tech man on it.
