Gordie Grohmann, once of the organizers of the Kansas City St. Patrick's Day Parade sent me this link today, which lists our local parade as one of the nation's top ten St. Patrick's Day celebrations...according to the AOL City Guide anyway. We all know that we're the only one that matters.
Speaking of the parade, we're hard at work here at Irish Fest HQ on our float. I'm biased I know, but I think it's going to be great. As soon as we get the trained chimps to keep their costumes on, dye 10,000 white doves green and get our negotiations with Bono straightened out, we'll be in business.
