Thanks to all who participated in yesterday's wildly successful fund raiser at Eddie Delahunt's Cafe &. Over $3500 was raised for the Jennifer Ireland Foundation. If you missed the fun, you can still contribute by going the foundation's web site.
As for Mairtin...as Eddie puts it "he now has a face like a baby's bum". I'm sure he means that in the nicest way.
Here we are, before during and after. Photos by Pete Maher of the Irish Focus.

I wanted to thank everyone for making the Film Clips event at Eddie’s Café & and great event. Special thanks to Dan Regan and Ed Scanlon for there help in getting the posters done on such notice. Thanks to Brian Scott at Union Press for the great t-shirts (a Dan Regan design). None of this could not have happened without Eddie Delahunt and Mairtin de Cogain, two great Irishmen with giant hearts.
Thanks also to the great Irish establishments that provide space to advertise this event, they include; Browne’s Irish Market, Sheehan Irish Imports, W J Mcbrides at the speedway, Court of Appeals in Shawnee, Mickey’s Irish Pub, Marfield’s Irish Pub in Leavenworth, Governor Stumpy’s Bar and Grill, Walsh’s Corner Cocktails, Kelly’s Westsider, O’Dowd’s Little Dublin, The 4433 Barbershop, and Paddy Malone’s Pub in Jefferson City.
A final thanks to Jennifer Ireland for bringing us all together in an effort to fight the dreadful disease.
