My new issue of Paste magazine came in the mail a couple days ago. If you haven't seen Paste ("Signs of Life in Music, Film and Culture" it says on the masthead), you should pick up a copy. In addition to snappy design and good writing, every issue comes with a CD of new music reviewed in that particular issue. And this month, as I mentioned here awhile back, on that CD was our own Tin Cup Prophette, Amanda Kapousouz and her song 80 Days from her new CD The Liar and The Thief.
This isn't the Irish music you heard Tin Cup Prophette play here at Irish Fest, but it is Amanda and it's great. The reviewer at Paste agrees, giving the CD four stars (out of five) and calls it "both enchanting and inexplicable".
