I know it's only Monday, but it might help get you through the coming work week to start planning your weekend now. Works for me anyway. So how about this coming Friday? How about Kansas City Irish Fest veterans The Kelihans at WJ McBride's in Overland Park? That show starts at 9:00 or so and you'll find McBride's tucked into the space at 12030 Blue Valley Parkway.
Spend Saturday raking those leaves and then head out to O'Hara High School for An Evening Of Celtic Pride with The Elders. You can reserve a table for your group of 8 starting at $250. Reservations are not required but seating is limited, so advanced ticket purchase is recommended. Individual tickets are $25.00. There'll also be an auction, door prizes and other great stuff. Call 816-763-4800, ext. 237 for more information.
Sunday, more leaves fell over night, so grab the damn rake again. But make sure you're finished in time to get to O'Dowd's Little Dublin on the Plaza for Eddie Delahunt's show there at 8:00. You never know who might show up to join the band.
So there you go. Your plans are made.
Now get to work. It's only Monday, after all.

Don't miss the opportunity to convert your neighbors to celtic music by playing some tunes while raking all those leaves.
