Kansas City Irish Festers The Elders are performing at a private event tomorrow night, October 6th and you're not invited.

Are you gonna let that stop you from seeing your favorite band? Of course not. You're made of tougher, sneakier stuff than that. The show will take place in the outdoor courtyard at the Western Auto condos, downtown at 21st and Grand. You can watch the show from the street above, where Grand passes over the train tracks. You'll have a better view than the invited guests below. As you head down, keep in mind that it's First Friday in that artsy neighborhood, and the streets will be crowded, and parking scarce. You might consider taking The Max bus, which will drop you off practically in Ian's lap for a buck and a quarter.

Should you miss that opportunity, you get a rare second chance the same weekend, as the band takes the stage on Sunday in the River Market. Get to mass early, because this one has an 11:00 AM start time. That show is free, and sponsored by radio station KTBG 90.9, “The Bridge”.
