I've been stricken with a nasty stomach bug this week (can I get a boo-hoo?) and so I haven't been up for my usual morning run, until today. When I left the house at a little after 6:00 there was a bright full moon still visible and even though it already 82 outside (at 6:00 AM!!), it was, as always, a great way to start a day.
Which is what reminded me, to remind you to be sure and sign up for the Luck Of The Irish Trot, on Irish Fest Sunday. The run is a 5K and for those of you who prefer walking there's a shorter 3K course. Plus, you'll be helping fund the St. Francis Xavier Cannonball Scholarship Fund, to help needy students within the parish pay for tuition, books and supplies. School's right around the corner and this is important stuff.
So sign up! Believe me, you'll need the energy boost that a good run gives you after the weekend we have planned for you. Details on the run are to be found here, or you can proceed to straight to sign up here.
