We love our Crown Center home, but it sometimes presents a challenge for our guests who use wheelchairs. To make that challenge a little more manageable, we've added limited parking this year for oversized vans. Those parking spaces will be located in the turnaround area just outside the street level entrance to the American Restaurant, off Grand Blvd. to the East. Handicapped plates or hang tags will be required. In addition to that, special wheelchairs-only seating area will be available adjacent to the the Terrace stage, so you folks in chairs don't spend the whole evening looking at somebody's rear end...at least not somebody whose rear end you didn't choose to be looking at.
As with all things concerning access and navigation at Irish Fest, your best bet is to scout out one of those helpful folks in the bright gold shirts, our Site Hosts. If they're not friendly and helpful, you have my permission to run over their toes.
