Jack Boyd from the Kelihans let me know that his great band, appearing at their 4th Kansas City Irish Fest this year, will have a special treat for us.The Kelihans will be debuting "The Old House" a 14 song LP of traditionals recorded session style in Jack's old house, appropriately enough. As if that weren't enough, you can grow your Kelihans kollection even more with "Now Roll Me Away" an 8 song studio EP of new originals that will be performed in public for the first time when the band opens the Terrace stage Saturday, September 2nd at noon.
Take out you Irish Fest weekend schedule and draw a big circle around that. You won't want to miss it.

Oooo... something to look forward to. Glad I made sure not to be volunteering while the Kelihans are playing. (But I did volunteer!)
