Sorry I'm late. Had to wait until half time of USA v. Ghana. Ghana is up 2-1, unfortunately, on a questionable penalty kick goal. On the positive side, the USA goal was scored by Irish-American Clint Dempsey. On the negative side, aside from the score, Ghana has players named Pantsil, Boateng and Pimpong, clearly winning the cool name portion of the match.

Anyway, back to Irish Fest business: you should, after the match, go check out the cool new Gaelic Storm website and get information on pre-ordering their new CD, Bring Yer Wellies . It won't be available in stores until July 25th, but you can get yours early by ordering ahead of time, sometime in the next few days, promises the band.

The endlessly entertaining Gaelic Storm is on the Kansas City Irish Fest Terrace Stage Saturday, September 2 and Sunday, September 3.
