The Kansas City Scottish Highland games continue today in nearby Riverside, MO. There, in addition to beefy men in skirts chucking telephone poles around, you can hear music from the esteemed likes of Bob Reeder,Ellis Island, Rowan, Hazel Whyte (which, as it happens is the color I painted my living room), Tullamore and the oddly named Weel Gaun Wheelie which I understand means "Well Oiled Machine". Tullamore follows that appearance with a show tonight at Governor Stumpy's in beautiful Waldo. That performance starts at 9:00 PM.
